The JP-400 drive is a compact, robust, explosion-proof universal motor that is manufactured and approved in accordance with the latest ATEX 2014/34/EC explosion protection guidelines. The collector motor is explosion-proof according to II 2G Ex de IIA T6 and has EC type-examination certificate ZELM 09 ATEX 0425 X. In addition to air-operated motors, the Ex-JP-400 electric motor offers maximum protection when pumping flammable media or for use in hazardous environments. For such applications, separate approvals for the drive motor and pump hose are required by ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.

The handy and powerful device can be used as a drive for ATEX-certified stainless steel capless pump tubes (Ø 41 mm), stainless steel mixing pump tubes, stainless steel pump tubes with mechanical seal or the complete emptying function. and eccentric screw pump tubes of JP-700 SR PTFE ATEX series. In this combination, the actuator is suitable for many thin liquid to viscous, neutral, slightly aggressive and flammable media with flash points below 55°C. Its sophisticated, technically clear structure ensures efficient and safe use in the transmission of a wide range of media.

In addition to its robustness, the drum pump motor also features an elegant design and easy operation. The non-stationary and stationary drive is particularly suitable for intermittent operation. As an externally ventilated motor, it has optimum air cooling, low noise level and ensures high operational safety and long service life.

The standard on/off switch integrated in the low voltage trigger is to prevent the drum pump motor from starting uncontrolled after a power failure or voltage drop. This ensures maximum safety.
