Best optical performance in standard applications - even in humid environments and in the food industry. The light scanner contains transmitting and receiving modules in a compact stainless steel housing. The emitted red light is reflected on the object to be detected and evaluated by the integrated sensor receiver. Thus, direct detection is provided without additional tools and accessories. Thanks to its robust stainless steel housing, it has IP65, IP67, IP68 and IP69K test ratings and can therefore be used in standard applications as well as in the food industry and in wet areas. The strength of the diffuse reflection sensor lies mainly in the interference-free suppression of the background, even with highly reflective backgrounds.

AO001 is also available as AO024 in a plastic housing with a lower IP67 rating and without IO-Link

Additional technical characteristics and corresponding accessories (sensor cable AA009, AA010, AA011, AA012 for standard applications, sensor cables AA013, AA014, AA015, AA016 for wet and food applications, handle AA907).

Reflective light sensor

Diffuse reflection sensors are used for direct object detection. The transmitter and receiver are housed in an enclosure. The transmitter emits light that is reflected from the object to be detected and recognized by the internal receiver.
