In some places it is common to inject (sodium or calcium) hypochlorite to disinfect well water at the wellhead to take advantage of transport time to the treatment plant. It is often necessary to use a device capable of injecting against high network pressure.

Modification of the cooling tower

Legionella prevention in cooling systems requires the use of a biocide, the concentration of which should be kept constant along the water circuit. It should also be kept under control of pH (to prevent corrosion or improve biocide effectiveness) as well as electrical conductivity.

Preparation and dosing of viscous products during water treatment

Preparation of polyelectrolyte solutions and subsequent dosing involves treatment with highly viscous products. The use of low and very low frequency dosing devices with a high suction capacity, equipped with the appropriate valves, allows such liquids to be volume adjusted in a wide range of flow rates.

Traceability in agricultural production

Proportional dosing and PIQ control during dosing with conductivity control of fertilizers, plant protection products and growth regulators in intensive horticulture enable comprehensive control of plant factors. Controlling pH helps the stability and efficiency of nutrients such as phosphorus and iron, while helping to maintain emitters (droppers, micro sprinklers) and irrigation system uniformity. The control of injected products makes it possible to know and certify the inputs between the valves and their cost.

Reuse of leachates in hydroponic crops

If salinity conditions and varietal tolerance permit, drainage waters from hydroponic crops can be modified to be reused for the same or different crops. Peroxide disinfection and nutrient reintegration through conductivity control allow the utilization of water and nutrients that would otherwise be lost.

Water treatment for the preparation of plant protection liquids

The use of low-pH waters helps the effectiveness of many plant protection products, allowing the concentration applied for the same purpose to be reduced. This water pH can be controlled by dosing nitric or phosphoric acid in a proportionally controlled manner or by using a pH sensor.

Dosage of drugs in farm animals

Proportional dosing of drugs on farms allows the water consumed by each animal to be proportionally and continuously supplied. Regular mixing in a small tank ensures the homogeneity of the injected product.

The use of electromagnetic dosing pumps allows these treatments to be carried out at low energy costs without the need for mains pressure to operate.
